Athena joined the ManTime at 11.00.

Bidding farewell to my pals, leaving c. 11.15 for Evesham police station to surrender my licence.

Home to lunch with the Minx, and onto e-furying: catching up with a swollen inbox. Socializing is good, but necessary things have not been addressed. Various fine-tuning of R2R matters, and dealing with an interview request.

The difficulty with having done one interview, it is assumed that more interviews are now possible/permissible. Gentle pressure is applied. The interview, submitted with an example of the format, represents and demonstrates why I no longer do interviews. The criterion for a decision: when the will to live begins seeping away from me.

I wonder how many people, nominally successful in their field, have been this miscast in their professional lives.

A call from Jeff Fayman: he and Athena were having high tea in Bath. So, they arrived safely, even with Jeff driving? Yes, but without their left wing-mirror, Jeff reports, which he left behind with a truck when pulling out of the hotel car park in Broadway.

Off at 16.30 to the Regal in Evesham, where T has a business meeting.

20.45    A good MinxMeeting, then into the cinema for a MinxMovieDate.

Returning home, rain specking.

Checking the latest e-arrivals. To gentle.
